Travel Vaccinations
Important
We do not provide travel advice.
Please refer to the NHS Travel health and vaccinations website and call the surgery to book a nurse appointment if you need any of the NHS provided travel vaccines above.
Other vaccines need to be obtained via a private travel clinic.
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel.
We offer combined diphtheria/tetanus/polio (DTP), typhoid and Hepatitis A for travel if required for destination. Any other vaccination or medication for travel needs to be sourced at a private travel clinic. Some pharmacies also offer a private travel vaccination clinic.
We can give the free NHS vaccines:
- Hepatitis A (valid for 25 years if two doses given within 12 month)
- Diphtheria, polio and tetanus combined (valid for 10 years)
- Typhoid (valid for 3 years)
