Wheelchair Access
The Practice has been specially designed to make it easier for disabled patients to visit; patients also have access to a disabled toilet.
Disabled Parking – Blue Badge Scheme
The Blue Badge Scheme is for people with severe mobility problems. It allows Blue Badge holders to park close to where they need to go.

Loop System

Blind/Partially Sighted
If you or your family members are blind or partially sighted we can give you a CD or large print of our Practice leaflet upon request. Please ask our staff for further information.

Guide Dogs
Guide dogs are welcome at the Practice but we ask that you be aware of other patients and staff who may have an allergy or fear of dogs.

Patient Transport Services
Transport in West Berkshire
You can find information about public transport in West Berkshire including the Transport Near Me search on the West Berkshire council website.
This includes a timetable and a journey planner as well as much more information on the services they provide.
South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS)
SCAS operates the non-emergency Patient Transport Service (PTS) in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire providing transport for people who are unable to use public or other transport due to their medical condition, and include those who are:
- attending hospital outpatient clinics
- being admitted to or discharged from hospital wards
- needing life-saving treatments such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy or renal dialysis or DVT treatment.
To book your own transport; please ring the patient eligibility line on:
- For Thames Valley (RBH, WBCH, Oxford) 0300 100 0015, choose option 1.
- For Hampshire (Basingstoke, Winchester) 0300 100 0024 choose option 1.
If you have booked transport and find you no longer require it, please cancel it to ensure this place can be offered to someone else by ringing the patient cancellation line on: 0300 790 0143.
The Patient Transport Service Contact Centre is open 7am to 7pm. Bookings need to be made 48 hours in advance of transport requirements.
If you are ineligible for Patient Transport Services, please contact West Berkshire Volunteer Centre on 01635 49004. There will be a charge for this service to cover costs.
